For more information, please visit www.jazzpharmaceuticals.com and follow @JazzPharma on Twitter.The Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer (CLO) is a dynamic partner and advisor who will execute Legal, Corporate Affairs and Government Affairs (LCG) department initiatives with energy and enthusiasm and provide leverage to optimize the CLO's effectiveness with internal and external stakeholders.

Serving as a critical enabler to the global legal team and corporate functions, this role encompasses management, project execution and operational responsibilities across a wide range of topics, making significant impact within LCG and for the Jazz organization. The role requires a combination of enterprise mindset, resourcefulness, emotional intelligence, directness, agility and strong project management, communication skills and a high degree of personal and professional integrity. The role requires the ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with the utmost discretion and a high ability to exercise sound judgement.

Essential Functions/ResponsibilitiesHelp the EVP and CLO, and the LCG team stay on target by establishing and helping team to focus and deliver on quarter by quarter, annual and multi-year internal and external priorities.Provide senior-level project management support for key initiatives across LCG.Own, execute and prioritize a wide range of strategic and operational projects and initiatives, exercising appropriate discretion on confidential and time sensitive matters that may require quick turnaround.

Ensure alignment among stakeholders to deliver projects.Manage projects and commitments directly involving the CLO and LCG leadership team; develop and maintain an inventory of critical path strategic projects.Monitor LCG strategic priorities and project portfolio and proactively raise/escalate issues.

Facilitate annual strategy, business and budget planning processes; ensure success criteria and metrics are captured for initiatives and monitor progress throughout the year.Work with CLO, functional leaders, Legal Operations and finance partners to actively monitor spend and produce forecasts and reports showing LCG's tracking against budget.Coordinate T&E expenses and other discretionary spend across LCG team and reconcile against budget.

Work with CLO, HRBP and managers on LCG learning and talent development, new role development, promotions, hiring process, onboarding and appropriate management of head count budget, and DEIB commitments.Ensure optimal information, review and approval flows; identify and creatively address roadblocks or inefficiencies.Compose, edit, and otherwise facilitate distribution of internal team communications and communications with other internal stakeholders.

Coordinate development of wide range of materials to support the CLO, including board presentations, internal and external presentations.Work with EA to CLO to manage CLO's key event and meeting schedule, ensuring availability and the provision of clear agendas and objectives.Identify, elevate, and ensure CLO's awareness of key emerging issues internally and externally within the biopharma and legal sector and relevant geographies.

10 years of experience in progressively more senior and complex roles in some combination of the following: strategy, financial analysis and/or project management is preferred.10 plus years' experience in a highly complex, multi-divisional biopharma organization.Strong desire to take on more and relish the challenge of new opportunities.

Ability to travel as needed, both in the US and globally. During certain intervals, travel may be significant.Located in the U.S.Required/Preferred Education and LicensesJ.D./M.B.A. preferred.B.A./B.S. degree required.

For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $200,000-$262,500. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package.
