Their patent and intellectual property litigation practice is expanding, and they are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team. Position Overview: Thus firm is currently seeking an entry level associate as well as an associate with 3+ years of experience in patent and intellectual property litigation. The ideal candidates should have a technical background, preferably in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.

As part of this legal team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and interesting cases in all aspects of litigation. Responsibilities: Work closely with a trial team on patent and intellectual property litigation matters Conduct legal research and analysis Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses Prepare for trials by organizing evidence, exhibits, and witnesses Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, experts, and other professionals involved in the case Maintain accurate case records and ensure timely filing of documents Stay updated with changes in laws related to patents and other intellectual property rights Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Admission to the Texas state bar (or ability to waive into the state bar) Technical background preferably in electrical engineering or computer science Strong academic credentials Excellent oral and written communication skills Self-motivated individual who can work well independently as well as part of a team Experience in patent or other intellectual property litigation is preferred but not required for the entry level position.
